We are beyond excited to welcome you to our massive new home at The Steel Yard. Set within three incredible, cavernous, vaulted railway arches, we are taking the LAM experience to a whole new level!

Join us for another month of the finest Kink+ shopping, socialising, and education on offer in the heart of the kinkiest city in the world. LAM is the perfect place to shop, socialise, and enhance your skills in a welcoming Kink+ environment. Whether you are here to pick up supplies, catch up with old friends, make new ones, or immerse yourself in our workshops, you are part of the world’s longest-running community-focused market and afterparty (running since 2006!).

The Schedule for the Day:

• 12:00 PM ~ Doors Open
• 01:00 PM ~ Newbie Orientation
• 02:00 PM ~ Healthy Mental Practices with The Kink Shrink (90-minute session)
  • A deep-dive Q&A on everything from Kink, Play, and Authority Transference to Ethical Non-Monogamy and Psychology. This workshop is always packed, so arrive early to grab a seat!
• 04:00 PM ~ Workshop — TBA
• 05:30 PM ~ Peer Rope LAMdon presented by Opalfruit (Beginner session)
  • Capacity 40 — 20 guaranteed-place tickets available.
• 06:00 PM ~ Market Closes
• 07:00 PM ~ The Afterparty Begins!
  • The bar will be open as we transition into our legendary evening social under the arches. Please see below for licensing info

⚠️ IMPORTANT: LICENSING & ID

Please note that due to strict licensing requirements at our new venue, anyone attending the Afterparty MUST bring valid photo ID. 

Entry will be refused without it, so please ensure you have it on your person!

Workshop Info

Due to the layout of the building, there is no wheelchair access to the workshops, however we will be streaming them live to a separate room on the ground floor for those in wheelchairs who wish to see them. We will be encouraging feedback on this to meet everyone’s needs.

All workshops are free and open to all attendees. However, 20 special tickets are available for purchase to reserve a guaranteed spot in the 5:30 PM Rope workshop.

Our 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM workshops will also be streamed via our Facebook page and available to view later on our YouTube Page.

Newbie Session

If you are new to the scene or the event, we highly recommend attending the 1:00 PM session. Each month we welcome a significant number of first timers, and this session is designed to help you get the absolute most out of your day.

Social Mixing Wristbands

To help you find like-minded people, LAM encourages the use of colour-coded silicone wristbands (available at the front desk):

• Green: Open to approaches from new contacts.
• Yellow: Open to approaches from friends only.
• Red: Please do not approach me in that capacity.

Health & Conduct

If you are feeling unwell in any way that might be contagious, please stay home and rest. We will happily roll your tickets forward to a future month.

We kindly remind all attendees that disruptive behaviour or disrespect towards staff and fellow guests is never tolerated. We pride ourselves on a safe, enjoyable atmosphere—please help us keep it that way!

• The Steel Yard is wheelchair accessible, except for workshops & Cloakroom, should you need to use the cloakroom please ask a member of our team to assist.
• Only certified assistance animals are permitted.
